How to Record

On compatible iPhone models, users can initiate audio recording during a call by tapping an icon located in the top-left corner of the Phone app. This action triggers an audible notification that alerts all participants that the call is being recorded. The recorded audio is subsequently stored in the Notes app, accompanied by a transcription for those who prefer a written account of the conversation. For models equipped with Apple Intelligence, such as the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 variants, users can also receive an AI-generated summary of the transcription. It is important to note that while summaries are available, Apple Intelligence is not a prerequisite for utilizing this recording feature.
