In some circumstances you may receive an email with the following contents:-

 

Automatic Let's Encrypt renewal for yourdomainnamehere.com was attempted and failed.

This certificate expires on 2024-04-28 02:29:03 +0100 BST. about the website.

 

This message is indicating that the signed SSL certificate which allows your website visitors to securely browse your website could not be renewed automatically. If the certificate was to expire your website visitors may receive a security warning when visiting your website and you may receive similar when attempting to receive, read or send emails connected to your domain name.

The automatic renewal failure is most often caused when one of your domain names, which previously had a valid SSL certificate, has now expired.

 

To renew your SSL certificate please ensure that your domain name is not expired and then complete these brief steps:-

 

Access services account.

  • Login to your Services account by entering your email address and password. Select the Login button.

Log in to your services account

  • Select the Services menu and select My Services

  • In the Status column select the Active button next to the website address which you require control panel access.

  • Now select Login to cPanel OR select the Login to Siteworx control panel.

Log into cPanel link

  • Now in the search box at the top of the screen type 'SSL' and select 'Lets Encrypt SSL'. 
  • In the Issue a New Certificate section, find your active domain name and select Issue.
  • Now select the blue Issue button and wait for approximately 60 seconds while your SSL certificate is signed.
